New Forest by Bike

Route 2 is a Sustrans bike route that goes from Dover to Cornwall. Earlier this summer I set out from Southampton to ride part of it to Dorset. It was a hot beautiful dusty day. The small boat ferry to Hythe at the start was a great way to start and it just got better from there really, riding through an endless New Forest (a lot on gravel, awkward on a road bike), through Bournemouth to Studland Bay, where after 90K I gave up. Looking forward to the next bit to Plymouth.
